We packed up our things early that morning and after securing a couple of our cakes into the car trunk; we were off!
Victoria from Grace Silverline was expecting us. I felt a little flustered and nervous. I always am meeting people for the first time. You know those who can't stop babbling out of excitement? Yea... that's me. *laughs*
She has such a pretty name don't you think? Victoria had heard from us from Yoonie who happened to bump into my humble blog awhile ago. They thought it would be a nice idea to allow me a showcase some of my wedding cake works in their next photo shoot with Female brides magazine. I was ecstatic!! *grin* which budding cake decorator wouldn't be? Haha I've never been invited for a photoshoot before and I was really keen to see how it was done. Obviously my silly SLR and a couple of tables isn't quite how the professionals did it!
Our jaws dropped when we got there.. there was a little makeshift studio area in the middle of their showroom...and boy were the decorations amazing! Victoria really does have a couple of neat tricks up her sleeve. :P
I'm soo excited for the December issue of female brides to be out! I won't be posting too many pictures of the cakes and little details.. don't want to spoil the excitement before then. *grin*
