So much cake!...
I'm currently working on some truffles and a cake for an engagement party on Friday; another birthday on Saturday...and a cake order due by Sunday... *faints*
I sometimes wonder why I do this to myself! *laughs* ...i'm not exactly tight for cash..*shrug* I guess its the idea of having something to bake for. Though...I do miss those sugar-free days; with no messy cake-y hands and face full of icing :P
I've got to get back to work; so here's a short post to wish Birksy (Suave DJ and cool friend) a Happy 21st!
He is determined to keep the cake for as long as he can; I told him to eat it, but I don't think he wants to listen to me *shakes head in disappointment* I hope the ants won't feast in his room!
I made an alcoholic mud cake into an armchair; sat a fondant molded figurine of him in a suit on top....and sat his DJ-ing gear on his lap. Well....speakers out the sides of the armchair and headphones to match of course ;)
He brought my cake with him around the club to show it off to all his friends...*blush* I felt so proud...*giggle*
I'm glad he was amused.
It's back to cakes for me~ *runs off with apron*
