A Truly Sweet scenario.

Here's the cutest little story about 2 friends caring for each other despite being continents apart.
Roy turned a year older today; and his childhood sweetheart Mel had hatched a plan to surprise him with a memorable cake! They were shy kids in the past; but now.. they are looking forward to seeing each other again very soon.Communicating with me via email; we came up with a funny little cartoon character of her popping out of a suitcase wishing him happy birthday. With a cake in hand of course.
I added on the Kuala Lumpur -- Sydney baggage stickers and MH flight numbers to boot! Haha; I've flown out of Sydney myself one too many times; I can't believe I know their stickers and codes by heart.

I drove all the way down to his office with mom to drop off his birthday surprise; I was so excited to present him mini Mel! Unfortunately he was out to lunch. I would have topped it off with a birthday song if not! haha.I received an email this evening from Mel about how thrilled he was with the surprise i left waiting at his workspace. I wish I was there to witness it myself.
Thanks Mel; do take care. Remember to say hey when you make it back home. :)
Would love to meet you in person.

I actually thought you found a mini suitcase as the base of your cake, until I realise that THAT was ALSO a cake! Brilliant effort!
