Ooooooh, it's gorgeous! I have a KitchenAid Professional Stand Mixer in Black Caviar... another beautiful color. I love mine beyond words - but not as much as I know you will love yours.

Congrats to ya =)

I like your spanking new mixer! I emailed you earlier about Kenwood vs Kitchen Aid, and I can see that you're a "kitchen aid" gal too ;-) Can I ask what made you buy the lift type rather than the tilt head?

Hi Su-Yin, I am awarding you with the E award! I've been reading your blog for a very long time now and you've been a great inspiration to me (I made a boob cake for my boyfriends birthday). Anyway, check out my post and click on the award to get the badge.

Woo-hoo. That's a pretty machine. Enjoy the hours of fun! But what about the Kenwood machines? I have to admit that the Kitchen Aid is good, but I lurve my Kenwood Chef. He's the new man in my life and I even named him - Kim (model KM336). All my friends were happy to learn that I had a new love, I can't understand why they were a bit disappointed when I said it was my food mixer!

Hi Suyin,
how much did u pay for your kitchenAid? I'm intending to buy one here in singapore, but the price is kinda ridiculous..just a year ago, it was $699, now, the same model (only 5 quart) costs $899!!! Please advise. Thanks.
