Take me out to the Ball Game~

Mindy brought me to my very first baseball game on Sunday.I was very honest with my shallow knowledge of the sport; but was extremely excited to learn more that afternoon. It was almost like an adventure! Stepping into a world I've only heard and known of from general knowledge. Baseball was beyond anything I'm usually acquainted with. It was real nice of Mindy to invite me to join her and some friends at Disney's World of Sport for the Spring Training game between the Texas Astros and Atlanta Braves. She's a big fan of the Braves; and she was excited to root for her favourite players batting. I was just interested in taking some good pictures and learning about the sport! Well.. the popcorn, soft serve icecream and lemonades were tempting too...*grin*
We bought lawn tickets and lazed on the grass to watch the game. I absolutely loved it! The sun was out... we had our sunscreen on..and the game was so much fun! They played cheesy baseball organ tunes throughout; the place smelt of of delicious hotdogs, grilled onions, buttery popcorn and refreshing malt from gallons of beer being drank in the afternoon's warm sunshine.
I have the best neighbors ever!
Katie and Mindy live downstairs..and they make me smile. I'm so very lucky to have bumped into these sweet girls.
I'm snuggled on the sofa with Mindy watching Jane Austen's Book Club on dvd right now. Got to cut this post short; the movie is getting interesting..*sigh* Orlando is beginning to be more fun than I thought.
